PlayStation Plus removes nine games from catalog in August 2026

Sony's PlayStation Plus subscription service will retire nine titles from its library in August 2026. The removals include the high‑profile first‑person zombie shooter *Dead Island 2*, which heads the list, followed by *Unicorn Overlord*, *Earth Defense Force 6*, *Harold Halibut*, *Clash: Artifacts of Chaos*, *Röki*, *Onee Chanbara Origin*, *Bomber Crew* and *Space Crew: Legendary Edition*.

Five of the titles—*Dead Island 2*, *Unicorn Overlord*, *Earth Defense Force 6*, *Harold Halibut* and *Clash: Artifacts of Chaos*—were originally scheduled to leave in July but were delayed, with August 18 set as the final day to play them. The remaining four titles have no exact removal date yet, but they will exit the catalog when the next month's additions appear. Subscribers are urged to use the “Last Chance to Play” section before the titles disappear permanently.
