PlayStation State of Play reveals God of War Laufey and Until Dawn 2

PlayStation’s recent State of Play livestream announced several upcoming titles and hardware. A new God of War game will focus on Laufey, Kratos’s second wife, and opens with her death; no release window was provided. The sequel Until Dawn 2, set on a tropical island with a ghost‑hunting TV crew, is slated for a 2027 launch on PS5.

Additional game releases confirmed include Silent Hill Townfall and Control Resonant on 24 September, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis on 12 February 2027, Marvel’s Wolverine with an extended gameplay trailer, new Marvel Tokon characters, and a dinosaur‑themed horror titled The Lost Wild. New titles highlighted in the Official PlayStation Podcast were Solarpunk, NBA The Run, and Beastro.

The podcast also previewed upcoming peripherals: the FlexStrike wireless fight stick (available 6 August), a 27‑inch gaming monitor with a DualSense charging hook (27 August), and Pulse Elevate wireless speakers slated for later in the year.
