PlayStation Store to adopt local currencies in Chile and Colombia

The PlayStation Store is transitioning from displaying prices in U.S. dollars to local currencies in several Latin American markets, specifically Chile and Colombia.

In Colombia, the change is scheduled to take effect on October 8, 2026, following maintenance that will take the store offline from October 5 to October 8. Prices will be determined by the Representative Market Rate (TRM) at the time of purchase. Users with existing balances in their PlayStation Network wallets will see their funds converted at a rate of 4,000 COP per dollar.

Chile will also implement this change, with maintenance scheduled to begin on October 5. The transition aims to allow users in these regions to view digital game and item prices in their respective national currencies.
