PlayStation Store to switch to Colombian pesos
Sony has announced that the PlayStation Store in Colombia will transition from displaying prices in U.S. dollars to Colombian pesos. This change is scheduled to take effect on October 9, 2026.
To facilitate the transition, the digital store will undergo a temporary suspension of commercial operations in Colombia from October 5 to October 8. During this period, the PlayStation 3 digital store will also permanently close in the country.
New purchases will be priced based on the current Representative Market Rate (TRM). For existing funds in PlayStation Network wallets and gift card credits, Sony will apply a fixed conversion rate of 4,000 Colombian pesos per U.S. dollar.
