Plaza Fiesta Las Palmas begins gradual reopening in Los Mochis
Plaza Fiesta Las Palmas in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, is preparing for a gradual reopening of its exterior establishments. According to Héctor Hallal Zepeda, a member of the plaza's Permanent Council, between 10 and 12 outdoor businesses could begin operations as early as next week, pending the completion of required permits and authorizations from various agencies.
The reopening process is expected to continue throughout September, with a target of adding approximately five businesses per week. If this schedule is maintained, all 31 exterior establishments could be operational by the end of September. Larger retailers, including Woolworth and a bowling alley, are projected to reopen in September.
However, businesses located inside the plaza are not part of this initial phase. The reopening of interior establishments is currently not expected until late 2026.
