PLD Youth Secretariat announces national hackathon for young innovators

The Youth Secretariat of the Dominican Liberation Party (JPLD) has announced the “Youth Hackathon: Ideas that Transform the Country,” scheduled for August 29 at the Casa Nacional Reinaldo Pared Pérez in Santo Domingo. The event is open to all Dominican youth between the ages of 16 and 35, regardless of political affiliation.

Organized to commemorate International Youth Day, the hackathon aims to provide a platform for young people to identify national problems, analyze their causes, and develop innovative proposals that could serve as social initiatives or public policies. Participants will work in teams across seven priority areas: mental health, employment and opportunities, education and artificial intelligence, citizen security, sports, digital marketing, and the environment.
