PLDT Enterprise hosts SME Day in Iloilo to promote digital tools

More than 100 small and medium enterprise (SME) owners in Iloilo City participated in SME Day Iloilo, an event organized by PLDT Enterprise to promote digital resilience and technological adoption.

Expert-led sessions provided by PLDT Enterprise, ePLDT, VITRO, Inc., and Cisco Meraki focused on essential modern technologies, including 5G connectivity, data center storage, and cybersecurity tools. The initiative aimed to help local entrepreneurs protect their operations from cyber threats and streamline business processes to meet evolving customer expectations.

Local government officials, including Atty. Fydah Marie Sabandoh Del Rosario of the Iloilo City Government, emphasized that digital tools are vital as the region expands as an innovation hub. John Eric S. Alviz, Vice President at PLDT Enterprise, noted that supporting SMEs with connectivity and digital platforms is a priority to support national economic growth.
