Pleasanton Museum on Main announces annual Ghost Walk tours

The Museum on Main is hosting its annual Ghost Walk program in downtown Pleasanton over two weekends in October. The tours feature costume-clad volunteers portraying historical figures to share the town’s spooky past through family-friendly performances.

Scheduled for October 9–10 and October 16–17, the live tours depart from 603 Main Street every half-hour between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. A ghost host provides introductions to local paranormal activity while guiding small groups through various locations, some of which include visits inside haunted buildings.

According to Rachel Brickell, the museum’s membership and visitor services manager, the event serves as an important fundraiser for the museum’s educational programs.
