Pleasanton police investigate attack on two teenagers
Pleasanton police are investigating a violent attack on two teenagers at the eaves Pleasanton apartment complex on Labor Day. The victims, a 17-year-old from San Ramon and a 16-year-old from San Leandro, were visiting a friend when they were approached by two assailants.
According to Pleasanton Police Department Lt. Brandon Stocking, the attack does not appear to have been random and the victims were likely targeted. The two attackers, described as white males between the ages of 17 and 18 with short hair, wore medical masks during the altercation.
One victim sustained multiple lacerations to his arm, possibly from a knife or edged weapon, and was transported to Eden Medical Center in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries. The second victim sustained minor injuries and did not require medical transport. Detectives and crime scene investigators remain on the case.
