Plenergy and Goldenergy expand presence in Portuguese energy markets

Plenergy has opened its 18th service station in Portugal, located in Silvares, Guimarães. This new facility is the company’s second in the Braga district and marks its first entry into commercial parks. The station operates 24 hours a day with an automated system and aims to provide fuel prices approximately 10% below the national average.

In the residential electricity sector, Goldenergy has become the second-largest provider in Portugal, trailing only EDP. According to ERSE data from June, Goldenergy holds a 9.8% market share in the residential segment with 570,467 customers. The company, which focuses on 100% green energy from renewable sources, reported being the largest net acquirer of customers during that period.
