Plesh secures 3.75 million euro investment led by Ibai Llanos and Gerard Piqué

Spanish startup Plesh has secured a 3.75 million euro investment round led by content creator Ibai Llanos and former footballer Gerard Piqué. The Barcelona-based company specializes in chocolate snacks made with vegetable fibers and no added sugars.

Llanos and Piqué are participating as individual partners and aim to act as brand ambassadors to help expand the company's presence both within Spain and internationally. Plesh currently distributes its products through more than 3,000 points of sale, including major supermarket chains such as Carrefour, Alcampo, and Bonpreu.

Founded in 2024 by Jaume Betrian, Juan Umbert, and Adrià Colominas, the startup maintains a lean structure with eight employees. While the company reported a turnover of 147,000 euros and losses of 601,000 euros in 2025 according to Mercantil Registry data, this new funding round significantly increases its capital compared to a previous 1 million euro round involving Piqué and other investors.
