Pleszewskie Centrum Medyczne to upgrade healthcare facilities
Pleszewskie Centrum Medyczne (PCM) has secured a grant totaling approximately 299,300 PLN to modernize its primary healthcare (POZ) facilities. The funding is sourced from the European FEnIKS program, which provides 238,572.03 PLN from the European budget and 60,727.97 PLN from the state budget.
The investment aims to improve diagnostic processes, reduce waiting times, and enhance patient safety and comfort. The funds will be used to purchase a variety of medical equipment, including EKG holters, mobile and versatile ultrasound machines, a spirometer, and specialized tools such as breast self-examination phantoms and infant examination tables.
Beyond equipment, the grant allows for infrastructure improvements to adapt premises for expanded services in prevention, diagnostics, and coordinated care. Błażej Górczyński, president of PCM, stated that the project will enable a wider range of on-site examinations, supporting comprehensive care for patients of all ages.
