Pleven receives new mobile blood donation unit

The charitable organization ‘Az Vyaryam i Pomagam’ (I Believe and Help) has donated a new specialized mobile blood donation unit to the Regional Center for Transfusion Hematology in Pleven, Bulgaria. The vehicle, valued at approximately €100,000, is designed to support blood donation campaigns outside of stationary facilities.

This donation is the 35th project completed by the Varna-based organization during its 11 years of operation. The initiative follows a recent donation of a similar mobile unit to the National Center for Transfusion Hematology in Sofia. To date, the organization’s total donations, which include medical equipment such as incubators and emergency vehicles for children, exceed €750,000.

The organization funds its activities through a commercial model where a percentage of sales from various products—ranging from food and water to household appliances—is donated to its healthcare causes.
