Pljevlja to host TERRA PULSE race for Miner's Day 2026

The Pljevlja Coal Mine (RUP) has announced the TERRA PULSE sports and recreational race, organized in celebration of Miner's Day 2026. The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 26, in Pljevlja, starting at 11:00 AM.

The competition is open to both professional runners and recreational participants aged 15 and older. The event features two distinct races: a 4-kilometer course and an 8-kilometer course, both traversing routes through the wider center of Pljevlja. The organizers aim to promote healthy lifestyles, community spirit, and the connection between the city's sporting environment and its mining and energy heritage.

For the 8-kilometer race, a prize fund has been established for the fastest participants. In both the men's and women's categories, first place will receive 500 euros, second place 300 euros, and third place 200 euros, along with trophies. Special prizes of 200 euros and a trophy will also be awarded to the fastest male and female residents of Pljevlja.

Participation is free, and all registrants will receive a starter pack including a t-shirt, race number, and medal. Registration is open until September 15 through the Triathlon Club Herceg Novi website. Starter packs can be collected on the morning of the race at July 13 Square in Pljevlja.
