PLN deploys personnel and backup power for NU Muktamar

PT PLN (Persero) Unit Induk Distribusi Jawa Timur has deployed 77 personnel on 24-hour standby to ensure stable electricity supply for the 35th Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) Muktamar in Jombang, East Java.

The electrical security system includes a layered approach utilizing one main substation and three specific feeders: Bahrul Ulum, Tembelang, and Mojokrapak. To provide backup, PLN has prepared four mobile substations (UGB) with a total capacity of 1,760 kVA, seven generators totaling 538 kVA, three Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), and nine Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS).

Readiness efforts are concentrated across six key locations, including the Bahrul Ulum Islamic Boarding School grounds and various university and mosque halls. Local leaders have expressed appreciation for the synergy to ensure the event proceeds smoothly and safely.
