PLN maintains 150 kV Rancaekek–Jatigede I transmission line

PT PLN (Persero) through its Bandung Transmission Implementation Unit (UPT) has conducted preventive maintenance on the 150 kV Rancaekek–Jatigede I transmission network. The work involved replacing insulators on Tower 20 Fasa T to maintain insulation quality and network reliability between the Rancaekek and Jatigede substations.

To avoid disrupting electricity supply to customers, public services, and businesses, the maintenance was performed using the Live Working (PDKB) method. This approach allows technicians to work on energized lines without cutting power. The operation was carried out by a team of eight certified personnel following strict safety and technical procedures.
