PLN supports 18 local MSMEs at Manado High Street Market 2026

PT PLN (Persero) through its Manado unit (UP3 Manado) facilitated the participation of 18 mentored Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Manado High Street Market (MHSM) 2026. The event, held from October 14–18, 2026, at Manado Town Square in North Sulawesi, aimed to boost the local economy and tourism.

The participating businesses represented various sectors, including organic agriculture, culinary services, handicrafts, and inclusive services such as a massage clinic for the visually impaired. Reki Wowiling, Manager of PLN UP3 Manado, stated that the initiative seeks to help local businesses expand market access, increase competitiveness, and become more independent.

Kartika Devi Tanos, Head of the North Sulawesi Tourism Office, expressed appreciation for the collaboration, noting that developing MSMEs is closely linked to strengthening the region's creative economy and tourism sectors.
