PLN UIP Sulawesi coordinates forest area permit returns

PT PLN (Persero) Unit Induk Pembangunan (UIP) Sulawesi held a coordination meeting in Palu to discuss the evaluation and return of Forest Area Use Approvals (PPKH). The meeting involved the Central Sulawesi Provincial Forestry Service and the Forest Area Stabilization Agency (BPKH) Region XVI.

The discussions focused on the initial stages of requesting PPKH evaluations for two electricity infrastructure projects: the 150 kV Poso-Ampana High Voltage Overhead Line (SUTT) and the 150 kV GI Luwuk-PLTMG Luwuk-GI Toili SUTT.

This coordination serves as preparation for upcoming field inspections to verify the actual condition of the forest areas used. The results of these evaluations will form the basis for returning the permits to the Ministry of Forestry. PLN stated that this process is part of their commitment to administrative order and accountable forest area management.
