PLN workers in Sorong rescue toddler from busy street

Two PLN technical service personnel, Frederick Panjaitan (38) and Emanuel Balla Wollo (32), received widespread public praise after a CCTV video showed them rescuing a toddler in Sorong, Southwest Papua.

While returning to their office after completing a work order in the Jalan Baru area, the men encountered a one-year-old boy who had wandered out of his home gate into a busy street. Emanuel slowed and stopped their motorcycle to prevent an accident, while Frederick quickly exited the vehicle, picked up the child, and safely returned him to his home.

The spontaneous act went viral on social media. Frederick stated that the action was not intended for attention but was a pure impulse to save the child's life.
