Imoshion Powerbanks recalled due to fire hazard
Ploonk B. V. has issued a recall for Imoshion MagSafe Powerbanks (10,000mAh) due to a significant fire hazard. This overheating can occur without any visible external signs of damage or malfunction.
The recall specifically affects model number IM-PB-0007, which was sold between July 2024 and June 2026. Affected units can be identified by the batch numbers 2024-06-0004 and 2024-09-0007 located on the back of the device. The products were distributed through various retailers, including MediaMarkt, Kaufland, and several online shops.
Consumers are advised to stop using and charging the affected powerbanks immediately. To prevent fire risks, the devices should be stored in a safe location away from flammable materials until they can be returned or handled according to customer service instructions.
