Plovdiv businesses and restaurants sanctioned following NRA inspections
The National Revenue Agency (NRA) has conducted a series of sudden inspections targeting businesses in Plovdiv and the surrounding region. The operations primarily focused on the historic Thursday Market, where inspectors used undercover methods and controlled purchases to identify discrepancies in cash reporting.
Several vendors at the market, including stalls operated by ET 'Obi-Chris-Boyana Khristakiieva' and 'Kadex' OOD, were flagged for financial inconsistencies. The enforcement action extended to various sectors, including a car wash operated by 'Gepard 1' EOOO and a retail store in the village of Parvenets.
High-profile dining establishments were also included in the NRA's public register of potential violators. Notable entries include a Korean restaurant in a Plovdiv mall managed by 'Maru' EOOO and the popular Asian restaurant 'Shanghai,' operated by 'Hua Li 88 88' EOOO. These businesses now face the risk of forced closure.
