Plovdiv citizens to protest for justice in Georgi Kusev murder case

A peaceful protest is scheduled to take place in front of the Plovdiv Court on September 3 at 9:30 AM to honor the memory of Georgi Kusev and support his family. Organizers are calling for a full, objective, and uncompromising investigation into his death.

Currently, eight minors between the ages of 14 and 17 have been charged and detained in connection with the case. However, organizers claim that four additional individuals believed to have participated in the attack at Youth Hill have not yet been apprehended. Protesters are demanding that all involved parties be identified and brought to justice.

In addition to the investigation, the protest includes demands for changes to the Penal Code to ensure adequate punishments for minors who commit serious intentional crimes.
