Plovdiv hosts Autumn Crafts Fair and diverse cultural events

Plovdiv is hosting a variety of cultural events throughout October, highlighted by the Autumn Crafts Fair. Under the theme ‘From the hands of the master – instruments with soul’, the fair features artisans demonstrating the creation of traditional Bulgarian musical instruments, including violins, guitarras, tamburas, kaval, and kaba gaidas.

The fair, which runs until October 4, includes a ‘Master Meeting’ zone where craftsmen showcase their skills in open-air ateliers. Additionally, the city's cultural calendar features a wide array of musical and theatrical performances. Notable events include the Station Street Festival, the Disco Music Fest, and various concerts at the Ancient Theatre and the Plovdiv Event Center. The State Opera Plovdiv is also preparing premieres of the ballet ‘The Son of the Monkey’ and the opera ‘Turandot’.
