Plovdiv Mayor honors public transport employees for exemplary service

Plovdiv Mayor Kostadin Dimitrov has honored two public transport employees for their exceptional service and humanity. The mayor referred to the individuals as the ‘positive heroes of the day.’

Bus driver Amurdzhon Sariev, operating route No. 9, was recognized after a passenger shared his story on social media. Sariev noticed an elderly passenger had left a bag on a seat after the bus had already departed. He stopped the vehicle, got off, and chased down the man to return the forgotten item.

Additionally, Georgi Parvanov, a conductor on route No. 29, was commended for his consistently positive attitude and professional conduct toward passengers.
