Plovdiv police identify 13 teenagers involved in violent brawl
Police in Plovdiv have identified 13 teenagers, aged between 12 and 15, involved in a violent confrontation that began at a local shopping mall and escalated on Russki Boulevard. The two groups of youths reportedly knew each other and had previously exchanged threats online.
The conflict initially occurred within a mall, prompting security to escort one group outside. The groups later reconvened on Russki Boulevard, where the physical altercation continued. An emergency call was placed to 112 at approximately 15:20.
One participant required medical attention from emergency services. Reports indicate one individual was injured after being burned with a lighter. All 13 minors were taken to the local police station in the presence of their parents to provide statements to inspectors from the Child Pedagogical Room. The Plovdiv District Prosecutor's Office has been notified, and an investigation is ongoing.
