Plovdiv re-launches 2.8 million euro street reconstruction tender

The East District of Plovdiv has announced a new public tender for the reconstruction of Arch. Kamen Petkov Street, valued at approximately 2.8 million euros excluding VAT. This follows the termination of a previous procurement attempt due to discrepancies between the bill of quantities and the approved project.

The scope of the project remains unchanged, covering the section from Princess Maria Louisa Boulevard to Bogomil Street. The planned works include the complete replacement of road surfaces and underground infrastructure, new sidewalks, lighting, video surveillance, and safety measures near three local schools. Additionally, the project includes over 670 meters of new water pipelines.

The construction period is set for 200 calendar days following the issuance of a contract award letter, provided that funding is secured. The tender has been re-issued without an increase in the estimated budget or changes to the project scope.
