Plurall launches AI engine Bodhi Tree to finance Colombia's excluded micro‑entrepreneurs

Colombian fintech Plurall has rolled out Bodhi Tree, an artificial‑intelligence‑driven risk‑assessment engine created in‑house after four years of development. The platform analyzes thousands of real‑client variables and alternative data sources – daily cash‑flow, digital‑wallet activity, geolocation coordinates, utility‑payment patterns and other operational signals – to generate a digital‑twin profile of each micro‑entrepreneur.

Bodhi Tree enables autonomous, rapid and high‑precision financing decisions, allowing Plurall to replace the traditional network of street‑level micro‑credit advisors and physical offices nationwide. According to CEO and co‑founder Federico Gómez, the system lowers customer‑acquisition costs while extending safe working‑capital credit to entrepreneurs who lack conventional banking histories.

The AI engine aims to broaden financial inclusion for millions of informal business owners across Colombia by offering secure, data‑driven loan access and avoiding over‑indebtedness.
