Plures affirms readiness to meet Tuscan mayors on waste and Taric

Plures issued a statement countering claims by the mayors of Carmignano, Campi Bisenzio and Poggio a Caiano that the company was unwilling to engage on municipal waste‑collection and Taric issues. The company said, "Lascia francamente perplessi che si scelga di denunciare una presunta indisponibilità al confronto quando è stata proprio Plures a proporre una soluzione concreta…".

Plures explained that it had proposed three separate meetings – 27 July in Carmignano, 29 July in Campi Bisenzio and 30 July in Poggio a Caiano – and was prepared to adjust times or reschedule for early September. No response was received, so the appointments were considered lapsed. The firm reiterated that direct dialogue is the most effective way to address the concerns of the administrations and that its president regularly meets with local officials.
