Plus Ultra resumes flights to Caracas from Madrid and Tenerife

Plus Ultra has announced the resumption of its flight operations to Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía, Caracas, starting September 8 through October 24. The airline will reconnect Venezuela with Spain via routes from Madrid and Tenerife.

The Madrid-Caracas route will operate four times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The Tenerife North route will feature weekly service, departing Venezuela on Saturdays and returning from the Canary Islands on Sundays. Additionally, the airline will maintain its Monday flights between Madrid and Valencia.

This return follows the recent reactivation of activities at Maiquetía airport and joins other Spanish carriers, such as Air Europa and Iberia, which resumed operations this week. Due to current infrastructure conditions, temporary terminals covering approximately 25% of the airport's usual capacity are being utilized to facilitate passenger transit.
