Plus500 revenue hits three-year high driven by US expansion

Fintech company Plus500 reported its highest first-half revenues in three years for the period ending June 30, 2026. Group revenue rose 12% year-on-year to $462.9 million, while customer income reached a five-year high of $460.8 million.

Growth was significantly driven by the company's expansion into prediction markets and its US business. The US non-over-the-counter division, which covers futures and prediction markets, saw revenue growth of approximately 30%. The prediction market segment is projected to achieve annualized turnover of roughly $140 million.

Despite the revenue surge, core profit growth was more modest, rising 1% to $187.5 million. The company attributed the gap between top-line growth and earnings to increased investments in customer acquisition, scaling costs in the US, and foreign exchange impacts.

In addition to operational updates, Plus500 announced $182.5 million in shareholder returns, consisting of $100 million in share buybacks and $82.5 million in dividends.
