Põlva Serviti wins opening Baltic League matches

Defending champions Põlva Serviti opened their new Baltic League season with two victories over Latvian opponents on September 26–27.

On Saturday, Serviti defeated the Latvian champions ZRHK Tenax Dobele with a score of 34:25. On Sunday, the team secured a 36:22 win against ASK/MSG. In the second match, Tõnis Kase and Kermo Saksing each scored six goals, while Hendrik Varul contributed five.

Team captain Ülljo Pihus noted that while the Saturday performance was strong, the Sunday game showed moments of inconsistency. He emphasized the need to reduce unforced errors and ball losses to maintain better defensive cooperation in future matches.
