Plymouth State University secures field hockey win as Johnson and Wales upsets Rhode Island College

In recent collegiate athletic contests, Plymouth State University secured a 5-1 victory over Framingham State University in field hockey. After an early tie, the Panthers scored four unanswered goals, including three in the final ten minutes of the fourth quarter, to seal the win. Ellie Monahan recorded two goals during the match.

In volleyball, Johnson and Wales University defeated Rhode Island College 3-2 in a five-set match. Despite Rhode Island College holding a 2-0 set lead, the Wildcats recovered to win the final three sets. Sarina Marines recorded a double-double for Rhode Island College with 10 kills and 16 digs, but the team was unable to close out the match.
