Plzeň Region highlights eight natural swimming spots for summer visitors

The Central Bohemian tourism board for the Plzeň Region has identified eight outdoor locations offering natural swimming opportunities. Highlights include the crystal‑clear flooded quarry at Konstantinovy Lázně, the exotic‑styled Makarská site near Třebnice, river‑side Fuferna baths on the Otava, and the mountain‑adjacent Žabáky pool near Železná Ruda. Additional venues feature the lakeside Manětín pool, the Vožehák fishpond near Kožlany, a sandy‑beach reservoir close to Nepomuk, and the Ejpovice quarry famed for wakeboarding and paddleboarding. Each spot provides basic amenities such as refreshments, restrooms, and in some cases camping facilities, appealing to families and outdoor enthusiasts seeking alternatives to crowded municipal pools.
