PM Modi praises RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s Vijayadashami address

Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat for his Vijayadashami address in Nagpur, describing the speech as ‘extremely inspiring’. In a post on the social media platform X, the Prime Minister highlighted Bhagwat’s focus on national progress, social unity, self-reliance, and character building.

During the address, marking the RSS's centenary year, Bhagwat emphasized the ‘Panch Parivartan’ (five transformations) initiative. This framework aims for positive social renewal through social harmony, family awareness (Kutumb Prabodhan), environmental consciousness, self-awareness/indigenous values (Swadesh), and civic discipline.

Bhagwat also touched upon global political shifts, referencing developments in France, Albania, Nepal, and Bangladesh. He noted that while movements for regime change occur in various parts of the world, true change requires more than just a shift in power. He asserted that as India progresses, its capacity to resist such destabilizing efforts will strengthen.
