PM Narendra Modi leads secretaries' meeting on Developed India agenda

Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a high‑level meeting with the secretaries of the Finance, Commerce & Industry and Technology ministries at New Delhi’s Progress Maidan. The meeting reviewed the agenda for the "Developed India" programme and set out actions to speed its implementation.

Modi called for stronger inter‑ministerial coordination, urging the elimination of horizontal and vertical silos. The discussion emphasized building technological self‑reliance, energy security, digital infrastructure and skill development. Cyber‑security was highlighted, with a focus on involving youth, startups and proactive responses to misinformation.

The Prime Minister stressed citizen‑centric governance, insisting that policies be designed for the benefit of ordinary people while advancing domestic capabilities in critical sectors.
