PM Narendra Modi praised for 7.7% GDP growth as BJP MLA cites public trust
BJP MLA Shri Kant Pandit Rao Bharati said that India’s Gross Domestic Product is expected to rise by 7.7 percent in the 2025‑26 fiscal year, crediting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s economic policies and foresight. He claimed that about 1.25 crore (12.5 million) Indians continue to trust Modi, citing “development and trust” as the main reasons.
Rao criticised the Congress Party and its leader Rahul Gandhi for focusing on the economy without offering solutions, warning that the world is moving toward a major economic crisis. He dismissed the India Block alliance as historically ineffective and lacking a solid basis, describing it as a coalition formed merely to oppose Modi.
He also commented on the removal of Z‑plus security for former chief ministers Rabri Devi and Lalu Prasad Yadav, noting that such decisions involve extensive intelligence assessment and are not routine matters.
