On 1 August 2026, at the opening of the 10th edition of the ÊLÊ Festival in Adiaké, Prime Minister Robert Beugré Mambé called on the populations of Sud‑Comoé to strengthen their unity. He said that regional strength depends on a shared vision and the cooperation of all communities. Mambé highlighted the President Alassane Ouattara’s focus on the area, citing ongoing infrastructure projects such as the Grand‑Bassam‑Noé highway, road upgrades and new educational facilities, which are intended to boost the region’s economic transformation and living standards. He praised competition winners, noting that “Les anges de Kacoukro” secured the super‑cup in the traditional pirogue race for the seventh time. The festival, featuring cultural performances, sports contests, ecotourism activities, beauty and cooking competitions, is presented as a platform to promote the cultural heritage and attract investment to make Sud‑Comoé more prosperous and cohesive.
