PMC celebrates 35th anniversary at Capitol Studios

British HiFi brand PMC celebrated its 35th anniversary with a music industry event at the Capitol Records Tower in Los Angeles. The celebration featured live performances by vocalist and pianist Sheléa, percussionist Kevin Ricard, and Melody Gardot.

The event highlighted a major installation of more than 50 PMC monitor loudspeakers throughout Capitol Studios. Studio A, which can accommodate an orchestra of up to 50 musicians, has been equipped with new PMC10-4 main monitors and custom subwoofers, while PMC6 compact monitors provide nearfield monitoring. Studio B features an identical setup. For stereo and immersive audio mixing, Studio C utilizes PMC15 XBD and PMC15 monitors.

PMC co-founder and chairman Peter Thomas noted that the venue is a fitting location for the anniversary, especially as the studio has been outfitted with the company's latest monitoring technology. The collaboration between PMC USA and Capitol Studios engineers has spanned nearly four years to develop these new products.
