PMDF soldier investigated for issuing multiple fines to favor acquaintance

A soldier from the Military Police of the Federal District (PMDF) is under investigation for allegedly issuing nine traffic fines to a single vehicle in a short period. The incident, which began in April, is suspected to be an attempt to pressure a family involved in a legal inheritance dispute.

The family claims the fines were issued while the vehicle was parked at their residence or shop, and that the officer used official resources, including his uniform and patrol vehicle, to facilitate the harassment. The accumulated fines total R$ 2,050.45 and resulted in 47 points on the driver's license.

The case has been officially registered and referred to the PMDF Corregedoria, the Public Ministry of the Federal District and Territories (MPDFT), and the Traffic Department (Detran) for investigation.
