PMERJ hires Cesgranrio for 2027 Officer selection process

The Military Police of the State of Rio de Janeiro (PMERJ) has formalized a contract with Fundação Cesgranrio to organize the 2027 Officer Training Course (CFO) selection process. The contract, valued at R$ 722,400, covers the planning and execution of the initial stages of the competition.

The selection process will offer 100 vacancies for candidates with a degree in Law, plus a reserve list. The evaluation is expected to consist of up to eight stages, including objective and discursive exams, physical tests, health assessments, psychological evaluations, and documentary verification. The initial salary during training is R$ 4,127.16, rising to R$ 10,348.18 upon completion as a Second Lieutenant.

Additionally, authorities have indicated that approximately 2,000 vacancies for the position of Soldier are anticipated for 2026, with the organizing institution yet to be defined.
