PMERJ Officer selection: Cesgranrio replaces FGV as organizer

The Rio de Janeiro Military Police (PMERJ) has announced a change in the organizing body for its 2027 Officer Training Course (CFO) selection process. Fundação Cesgranrio has been appointed to manage the competition, replacing Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV), which was previously indicated in official documentation.

The selection process will offer 100 vacancies for candidates with a bachelor's degree in Law. The recruitment includes specific quotas: 20% for Black and Indigenous candidates and 10% for economically disadvantaged applicants.

The evaluation stages will include an objective exam consisting of 80 multiple-choice questions covering administrative, constitutional, criminal, and military criminal law, as well as human rights. Other stages managed by the corporation will include discursive exams, physical fitness tests, psychological evaluations, and medical examinations. The official notice is expected to be published in the second half of this year.
