PMII leaders urge Indonesian youth to prioritize integrity and critical thinking

Leaders of the Indonesian Islamic Student Movement (PMII) have issued guidance to youth regarding character development and leadership in the modern era.

In Tanah Laut, Vice Regent HM Zazuli addressed members during a basic cadre training session. He emphasized that student activists must develop critical thinking skills paired with integrity and ethics. Zazuli noted that criticism should be objective and accompanied by constructive solutions to prepare the younger generation for the goals of Indonesia Emas 2045.

Separately, Ismail Saleh, Chairman of the PKC PMII for West Papua and Southwest Papua, encouraged Generation Z to adopt the values of Prophet Muhammad SAW, such as honesty and courage, to navigate the digital age. He highlighted that despite rapid technological advancements and the rise of artificial intelligence, core values like responsibility and social care remain essential for building civilization.
