PMIRD Awards 2026 call for entries opens in Dominican Republic
The Project Management Institute Dominican Republic Chapter (PMIRD) has officially opened the call for entries for the PMIRD Awards 2026. The program aims to recognize excellence in project management and highlight organizations that drive transformation, innovation, and sustainable development through strategic, results-oriented management.
The application period is open from July 1 to August 30, 2026. The awards are available to organizations across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors that demonstrate outstanding performance in applying project management best practices.
There are two primary recognition categories:
1. PMIRD Project of the Year Award: This honors initiatives in categories including Construction and Infrastructure, Engineering or Technology, Sustainability, and Social Projects. Evaluation is based on execution excellence, innovation, value generation, and social or organizational impact.
2. PMIRD PMO of the Year Award: This recognizes Project Management Offices (PMOs) that have strengthened an organization's capacity to execute strategy through high levels of maturity and leadership.
A specialized jury will evaluate submissions using criteria aligned with international Project Management Institute (PMI) standards, focusing on strategic alignment, execution, and the sustainability of results.
