In the Madhurandhagam constituency, where the Vanni community holds significant voting power, TVK leadership is reportedly seeking PMK as a friendly force. During the 2024 parliamentary elections, PMK secured approximately 9.57% of the votes in the Madhurandhagam assembly segment. This strategic move aims to prevent PMK votes from shifting to the AIADMK, which previously held a narrow margin over TVK in the constituency.
