PNB invests RM569.3 million in educational talent development
Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) has invested RM569.3 million into 20 different educational programs since 1996. These initiatives have benefited more than 6,500 students, many of whom have transitioned into professional leadership roles across various sectors, including investment management, corporate leadership, academia, and entrepreneurship.
The impact of these investments is reflected within the organization itself; 333 alumni of PNB’s educational programs are currently employed by the company, and 30 percent of PNB’s top management consists of program alumni.
For 2025, PNB has allocated RM42 million toward education, with over 1,200 active scholarship recipients currently studying both locally and abroad. The scope of talent development includes secondary education, higher education, Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), professional certifications, and postgraduate studies.
