PNE reports strong H1 2026 operational recovery
PNE has reported a significant operational recovery for the first half of 2026. The company’s normalized EBITDA rose to 27.4 million euros, a substantial increase from 4.7 million euros in the same period the previous year. EBIT also turned positive at 8.5 million euros, compared to a loss of 14.4 million euros in the prior-year period. Revenue grew to 96.8 million euros from 73.9 million euros.
This growth was driven by increases in electricity generation and successful project sales. PNE’s electricity generation reached 408 gigawatt-hours during the half-year, and its self-operation portfolio includes a capacity of 484 megawatts. The company maintains a stable project pipeline of 21.7 gigawatts for wind and photovoltaic projects.
Despite the improved operational performance, the company's stock has faced pressure and reached a 52-week low. This volatility is attributed to uncertainty regarding an ongoing investor search and a potential change in ownership. Management has confirmed its full-year 2026 forecast, projecting a normalized EBITDA between 110 million and 140 million euros.
