Pnina Yanai arrives in Athens as new Israeli Ambassador

Pnina Yanai has arrived in Athens to assume her role as the new Israeli Ambassador to Greece, succeeding Noam Katz. Upon her arrival, she conducted a formal visit to the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Yanai is a lawyer, strategic advisor, and international relations analyst with expertise in defense, cybersecurity, energy, and economic crime. She holds a law degree from Bar-Ilan University and a master's degree in Public and International Law.

Her appointment comes during a period of close strategic cooperation between Greece and Israel, particularly in the sectors of defense, energy, technology, tourism, and investment in the Eastern Mediterranean. Yanai expressed her commitment to strengthening bilateral ties and enhancing communication with Greek society.
