PNL criticizes PSD government formation proposals

PNL Deputy Raluca Turcan has criticized government formation proposals put forward by PSD leader Sorin Grindeanu. Grindeanu suggested two options: a minority government formed exclusively by the PSD or a broader government built around the PSD.

Turcan responded with irony on social media, making references to past corruption investigations involving cash found in shoe boxes. She argued that the PSD's stance indicates a desire to control an executive led by an independent prime minister to suit party interests. Turcan further suggested that the PSD leadership is eager to regain access to state resources and administrative positions after months out of power.
