In a statement shared via Facebook, the official explained that he is stepping down from the presidency of PNL Gorj to avoid a situation where he would be forced into complicity through silence. He emphasized that while he is leaving the party function, he will continue his mandate in Parliament to advocate for the needs and expectations of the Gorj region without the constraints of party-specific obligations.
