PNM and ABPEDNAS sign MoU to boost village economic empowerment

PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Association of Village Consultative Bodies (ABPEDNAS) to strengthen financial literacy and economic empowerment in Indonesian villages.

The collaboration aims to support President Prabowo Subianto’s Asta Cita agenda, which focuses on building from the village level to achieve economic equality and poverty reduction. Through this partnership, PNM is working alongside three major associations, including ABPEDNAS, ASLINMAS, and Srikandi Jaga Desa, which collectively represent approximately 1.2 million members.

The initiative will utilize literacy as a gateway to empowerment, involving the mapping of village potential, addressing local aspirations, and providing assistance to business groups to ensure sustainable growth. Additionally, the program will offer education on legal awareness, including prevention, early detection, and legal assistance for underprivileged communities.
